German “CLAAS” to expand range of agricultural equipment for Turkmenistan

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received the representatives of German “CLAAS Global Sales GmbH” company – Dieter Duringer, President of CLAAS Sales for the CIS, and Sergey Potemin, Regional Director of CLAAS for Central Asia and the Caucasus – who arrived in Ashgabat to participate in the upcoming Day of the German economy in Turkmenistan.

As the correspondent reports referring to the press service of the Turkmen President, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov praised Turkmenistan’s cooperation with CLAAS, which is one of the leading European manufacturers of agricultural machinery. He stressed that Turkmenistan is interested in adopting the best international practices and technologies, including in the agricultural sector that the German companies can share.

The representatives of CLAAS expressed their readiness to continue supplying modern tractors and machinery for the agricultural complex of Turkmenistan, emphasizing the company’s interest in strengthening its position in the promising Turkmen market. The company believes that there will be stable demand for high-quality and highly efficient agricultural machinery, which is adapted to the local climatic conditions. According to the businessmen, Turkmen farmers have been able to see the reliability and convenience of German agricultural machinery over the past years.
